Dual Enrollment

Workforce Advantage Academy students can dual enroll at area tech centers to learn a trade while still in high school.

Students interested in earning certifications and licenses in a myriad of well-paying fields – such as nursing, emergency medical services, culinary arts, digital production, diesel truck repair, and game and simulation programming – can begin their studies while still in high school, through a partnership with Orange County Public Schools Career and Technical Education program.

Minimum basic skill grade levels are required. Classes taken at the technical school will count as electives. Students must have a 2.0 or better grade point average.

Discuss career and learning opportunities and options with a member of Workforce Advantage Academy’s business development team.

Students also can duel enroll at Valencia College to get a head start on their college degree.
